6 year old sisters (born spring 2020)
This bonded pair were some of the first kittens to be rescued through Cats Cradle and were adopted out to a loving home where they spent the first 5 years of their life. Sadly circumstances changed and they ended up back in our care and have been with a foster since fall 2025.
Ruby (calico) is a sweet, gentle girl. She loves to sit near her human and purrs in anticipation of the pats and affection. She is a “handsy” kitty who scoops water and kibble from the bowl to lick off her paws. Ruby’s favourite game is chasing tossed treats!
Varley (black, long haired) is a sensitive soul who has really come out of her shell in the calm, consistent space created by her foster. If her cues are missed (although she makes them clear) she may give a swipe, and she does prefer if you avoid her belly and feet with any pets. Varley and her foster have been working on establishing a grooming routine and she now accepts brushing to keep on top of her luscious mane with the bribe of a licky treat.
Both girls are spayed and fully vetted. They would do best in a home with no other pets, and experienced and gentle humans.
